Asa child most of her spare time is spent drawing and painting. Later, during her career in “fashion” as a decorator and storefront designer, she regularly creates modern visual arts to relax.

When it turns out her work is praised and appreciated all over the world and her dad, as an important supporter, falls away, Moontje decides: life should always be relaxed. This results in colourful strip-art and pop-art with splash and drip style which makes every work unique and it always leaves a recognizable“Moontje”-expression.
